During a very challenging time, this film explores the roots of African American heritage through African and Caribbean social dances. Amid the COVID-19 global pandemic, it was important for the director, Angel Kaba to create a space to uplift the spirits of the NYC dance community and inspire the world by highlighting Afro Dances on film.
